This Router product is an add-on function to Symdriver-T. It allows the routing of TCP/IP traffic as an integral Windows NT service. It also allows the user to configure for RAS (Remote Access Service) functionality. It is supplied with a manual and is packaged on a single 3.5" floppy disk.
  • About Symrouter-T
Symrouter-T is a service that allows you to use TCP/IP protocol to connect to remote IP nodes across a Wide Area Network. Symrouter-T offers full RFC 887/1536 compliance and a maximum of 100 routes or connections. Symrouter-T also offers dynamic calling and call clearing along with an activity timer which will clear inactive connections and automatically re-establish the connection when the respective route becomes active again.
  • About Symrouter-T (RAS)

Symrouter-T(RAS) is an installable Windows NT device driver that uses the capabilities of a DTSX adapter for Point-to-Point Protocol connectivity via leased line or ISDN. Symrouter-T(RAS) utilises the facilities of Symdriver-T to give ISDN connectivity to the Remote Access Service. The Remote Access Service allows geographically remote users to connect to a central site giving access to that site as if the remote user were actually logging on locally or directly attached to the system.
