NEW FUNCTIONALITY

An installation wizard to simplify the complex installation and configuration of the unit, when connecting to the Internet.

Mail Relay has been added to the IAS^GII to allow single IP accounts, with one generic mailbox, ‘anything’@company.com, to be linked to an internal mail system such as Microsoft Exchange or Small Business Server.

‘Heads & Seats’ operation, allowing, via ‘Heads’, an Internet Service Provider to limit the number of users per single IP account and via ‘Seats’, allowing a Network Manager to limit workstation internet access.

ORIGINAL FEATURES RETAINED

The IAS^GII retains all of the original features that made it such a ‘best seller’.

The IAS^GII can be configured for either multiple user IP addresses or single IP working. Single IP working allows an entire network to have access to the internet using only 1, class C, IP address. As well as being very cost effective, this also means that unwanted incoming calls are intercepted and rejected when they try to penetrate the IAS^GII and get on to your Local Network.

ISDN Call costs are kept low as call charges are levvied only whilst data is being transferred - NO DATA, NO CALL CHARGE. This coupled with single IP working means that your whole LAN can have Internet and E-mail Access using one low cost internet access account.
